In 1937, it was used as a classification and accommodation camp for prisoners of war and, in particular, as a parking lot for foreigners and potentially dangerous prisoners. In April 1938, this camp was designated as the place where all prisoners of foreign nationality were concentrated, a situation which remained until its closure in November 1939.
